Published by Health Metrics, April 5, 2023

Health Metrics is pleased to announce its sponsorship of the Future Retirement Living Award, as part of the 2023 National Retirement Living Awards to be held on June 22 at The Star, Gold Coast.

The Health Metrics Future Retirement Living Leader Award, recognises outstanding young professionals (35 years or under) in the retirement living industry who have demonstrated excellence through their leadership, technical skills and capacity to innovate. Nominees can work for a retirement village owner/operator or service provider to the industry, and be involved in any area, including but not limited to sales, operations, design, marketing or engineering.

The annual National Retirement Living Awards - jointly held by the Property Council of Australia and Retirement Living Council - celebrates high achievement across all parts of the retirement living sector. The Awards contain nine categories, and one ‘people’s choice’ award, recognising people and companies doing great work to ensure senior Australians have an enjoyable retirement.

The national winner will receive a winners trophy, $2,000 towards professional development through the Property Council Academy as well as complimentary registration to attend the 2024 National Retirement Living Summit and Awards Gala Dinner.

Retirement Living Council Executive Director Daniel Gannon said Australia’s retirement living industry is the world’s gold standard, as evidenced by the highest score in the prestigious Global Real Estate Sustainability Benchmark last November.

Mr Gannon said feedback from the judging panel was encouraging, with an overwhelming number of applicants and a consistently high standard.

Health Metrics CEO Paul Brindle said that he would like to wish all of the finalists the best of luck and he looks forward to presenting the award to the winner in June.

“At Health Metrics, we’re transforming and growing our business into a true best-in-class technology provider that will continue to support growth and change within the retirement living sector. We understand the importance of investing in great people and we’re pleased to support the future leaders of tomorrow through this award”, he said.
